Position: Trainee Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of various testing methodologies and types.
  • Thoroughly understand the assigned module/product.
  • Perform testing across all aspects of the product, including functional, system, performance, and regression testing.
  • Execute test cases and report bugs promptly.
  • Track and report bugs accurately.
  • Maintain accurate time accounting and work reporting.
  • Deliver agreed deliverables with quality and on time.
  • Contribute to the company’s knowledge base and suggest process improvements.
  • Maintain high team morale.
  • Adhere to company and project standards and guidelines.
  • Prepare and install test environments in readiness for test cycles.
  • Create and maintain testing documentation.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with Quality System Procedures.
  • Conduct tasks as directed by the Team Leader.

Requirements:

  • Fresh graduates with degrees in BCA, B.E/B.Tech, or B.Sc.
  • Certification in Software Testing (mandatory).
  • ISTQB certification (preferred).
  • Consistent academic performance with at least 60% aggregate from high school to university education.
