Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain web applications.
  • Define system design and functionality, ensuring scalability and readability.
  • Write code adhering to internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for high-scale web environments; advocate for these standards through code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop features to enhance user experience by addressing customer pain points.
  • Work closely with back-end engineers and web designers to improve usability.
  • Provide website maintenance and implement enhancements.
  • Apply UI development principles to ensure the client side of the product performs at scale.
  • Monitor key metrics to review and optimize app usage, proactively addressing issues.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of proven experience as a front-end engineer; experience in a high-growth startup is a plus.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and Redux, with a solid understanding of API workflows and integrations.
  • Ability to proactively communicate with reporting managers, take initiative in implementing features, and solve issues.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to perform in fast-paced environments with rapidly changing design and technology needs.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor other developers in the team.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
