Responsibilities:

  • Execute software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, while building solutions or resolving technical challenges beyond conventional approaches.
  • Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that synchronize appropriately with systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are adhered to during code development.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reports from large, diverse datasets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data, using insights to enhance coding hygiene and improve system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and participate in events that explore new and emerging technologies.
  • Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot, API development, React, and Java.
  • Strong application development background with a focus on Design Thinking.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Splunk.
  • Familiarity with the Unix/Linux environment and understanding of test-driven development.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments using modern programming and database querying languages.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software applications and technical processes within specialized disciplines like cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile technologies.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies.
