Position: Associate Data Science Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data extraction from various databases using SQL and other query languages, applying data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques.
  • Conduct analysis on terabytes and petabytes of diverse datasets, uncovering patterns through advanced mathematical and statistical techniques.
  • Develop machine learning models and apply analytics in highly automated industrial manufacturing.
  • Build web applications as part of the job scope.
  • Implement cloud-based analytics and machine learning solutions.
  • Develop APIs for seamless application integration.
  • Work on statistical modeling, feature extraction, feature engineering, and supervised/unsupervised/semi-supervised learning.
  • Analyze and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Write clean and efficient code, demonstrating strong software development skills.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to achieve common objectives in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a CGPA of 7.0 or above.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python; knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS 2.0, and Tableau is a plus.
  • Data Science Knowledge: Familiarity with statistics, machine learning, and advanced analytical methods.
  • Tools and Libraries: Experience with PySpark or libraries for distributed and parallel processing is an added advantage. Knowledge of TensorFlow or other statistical software is beneficial.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
    • Experience with time series data, images, semi-supervised learning, and data with dynamic distributions.
    • Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Work Skills:
    • Self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Adaptable to new technologies and a quick learner.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
