Responsibilities:

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Participate in, or lead, design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate and select from available technologies.
  • Review code written by other developers and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices (e.g., style guidelines, testability, and efficiency).
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and update materials based on product or program changes and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug, track, and resolve them by analyzing the sources and understanding their impact on hardware, network, or service quality.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 1 year of experience in software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
    • 1 year of experience building developer tools that enhance developer velocity, code quality, and code health (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks).
    • Experience in developing accessible technologies.
