Position: Software Development Engineer - Backend - Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain backend systems for cybersecurity products.
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using languages such as Node.js or Go.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Stay updated on trends and advancements in backend development and cybersecurity.
  • Assist in documenting technical specifications, user guides, and other relevant materials.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Node.js or Go.
  • Familiarity with backend development frameworks, libraries, and tools.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies, protocols, and APIs.
  • Knowledge of databases, SQL, and database design principles.
  • Passion for cybersecurity and interest in industry trends.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases, caching mechanisms, and distributed systems.
