Responsibilities:

  • Make enhancements to existing software applications.
  • Develop and design new reports, including data fetching through SQL, data processing, and data representation based on requirements.
  • Gather requirements, understand project scope, create work estimates, and effectively plan and execute tasks.
  • Handle client calls and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
  • Participate in component-level technical design discussions and collaborations.
  • Debug and document root cause analysis and resolutions.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance operations and the development ecosystem.
  • Provide support for software releases.
  • Gain an understanding of healthcare workflows and the Millennium data model.
  • Work additional or irregular hours as needed, adhering to corporate and organizational security policies.
  • Safeguard corporate and client assets and report any security compromises.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database management systems.
    • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
    • Debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
    • Experience in unit testing and data analysis.
    • Good to have: Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Business Object, Power Insight, DA2), CCL, and knowledge of healthcare workflows.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities.
    • Effective communication and attention to detail.
    • Adaptability and time management skills.
    • Continuous learning mindset.
    • Basic mentorship skills to assist peers.
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Familiarity with MySQL, data processing, and software engineering practices.
