Responsibilities:

  • The research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems’ security and determine next steps, including potential escalations.
  • Develop and implement automation for security processes and procedures, translating security policy into effective controls.
  • Respond to security incidents, conduct threat intelligence and analysis, and utilize data analytics to drive security decisions.
  • Conducted and supported red/purple team operations to improve the organization's security posture.
  • Maintain hardware, software, network firewalls, and encryption protocols while administering security policies to control system access.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
  • Basic cybersecurity certifications.
  • Proficiency in Python and other programming languages.
