Responsibilities:

• Provide end-users first-line technical support and assistance, addressing IT-related issues and inquiries.
• Log and track all support tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of problems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate complex issues and ensure prompt resolution.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and documentation to enhance self-service options and facilitate efficient problem-solving.
• Communicate effectively with users from diverse communities and cultures across the globe.
• Adhere to shift schedules, including night shifts, and work from the office as per project requirements.

Role Expectations:

• Client-focused with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate sound technical knowledge in handling IT issues.
• Ability to work in shifts and adapt to office-based working environments.
• Deliver high-quality support while meeting client expectations.

Eligibility Criteria:

• 2024 batch of B.E/B.Tech (full-time degree) in any branch.
• Consistent academic record of at least 50% in X, XII, Diploma, UG, and PG (if applicable) with no standing arrears at the time of registration and joining.
• Flexible to relocate anywhere in India and work in any shift/technology/domain as per business requirements.
• Open to Indian nationals and OCIs currently residing in India.

Mandatory Documentation:

• For Registration:

  • Resume (maximum 2 pages) with a high-resolution passport-sized photograph in a light background, ensuring both ears are visible.

• For Interview:

  • All academic documents, including college ID cards and UG mark sheets.

• For Onboarding:

  • Satisfactory background verification completion.
  • The PAN card with both first and last names has been updated. Ensure the PAN card name matches the name registered in the application.
  • Voter ID or Passport for citizenship verification.
  • Other necessary documents as required by Cognizant's onboarding process.
