Position: Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with front-end developers to design and develop functional, robust APIs to support internal and customer needs.
  • Write both unit and integration tests, and create automation tools for routine tasks.
  • Develop high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code.
  • Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud.
  • Enhance the performance and scalability of internal and external applications.
  • Develop automated tests to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers regarding progress on long-term technology plans.
  • Evaluate and recommend systems solutions by comparing custom development and purchased alternatives.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Experience working with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase).
  • Skilled in creating and utilizing RESTful API services for large-scale applications and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React, AngularJS, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming and engineering principles such as SOLID.
  • Ability to write effective unit, integration, and API tests.
  • Experience with NestJS for scalable server-side applications is advantageous.
  • Understanding immutable infrastructure, infrastructure automation, and provisioning tools is beneficial.
